The basic LED driver circuit is an electric power circuit used to power a light-emitting diode. The simplest circuit consists of a voltage source powering two components connected in series: A current limiting resistor and an LED. We provide two types for your different demands, and the details are listed bellow for your reference.

Optionally, a switch may be introduced to open and close the LED driver circuit. The switch may be replaced with another component or circuit to form a continuity tester. Although simple, this circuit is not necessarily the most energy efficient circuit to drive an LED, since energy is lost in the resistor.(2012/Oct/1 15:38:10)

This HPD004B series LED driver circuit is designed for driving high power LEDs. The LED used will have a voltage drop which is specified at the intended operating current. The resistor value is computed by subtracting the LED voltage drop from the supply voltage, and then dividing by the desired LED operating current.

The power LED driver can be applied to an off-line topology called RAIS. It is a technology with TRIAC dimmer compatibility and near unity power factor with no loss in any efficiency. Besides, it is especially suited to use with domestic TRIAC dimmers. The RAIS is a single stage supply that also delivers a constant current output to the LED with no sense resistor.

The power has to do with the voltage and the current, and there has relatively influences between the two. Small voltage change result in a large change in current. In the power LED driver, if the voltage is too high, then the current will go above the maximum rating, heating and possibly destroying the LED.

The HPD005B RGB type has DC 5V/1A input and 1 set RGB output. The 1 set program output is freely connected, and the color will be changed in sequence by the LED color changing system. This is widely used in interior lighting for resifential, yacht and decorations for stores or yard.

This HPD017B power LED driver features AC90~264V / 0.2 A input and constant current for output. The one-on-one concept is easy to connect to the LED fixture lighting. There are three thypes of output protection: over current, over voltage and short circuit.

In this series, we provide F7004 and F1004 for different purposes. The F7004 gas 700mA output current range while the F1004 has 1000mA current range. The parameter of the HPD008B type has two models, F7012 and F7024. Two of the types share the same input votage in AC90~264V, input frequency 47~63Hz and same operating temperature, around -20~50℃. As for the output voltage, the F7012 ranges from 4~12V while the F7024 ranges from 16~24V. This type of thecurrent driver share the same output current range, 700mA.

The dimension of the two models are the same, 103mm(L)*50mm(W)*30mm(H). So, you should pay attention to the output voltage or current range.
